Tech Fiction
We are Arjan and Achilleas. We are long time Rails enthousiasts and have both become technical leaders. Originally we started our podcast in Dutch, but we've now decided to interview people we find interesting to have conversations that, hopefully, our listeners will find interesting as well.
Looking for the Dutch episodes? We've moved those to: https://www.techfictie.nl 🇳🇱

01 - Amanda Perino - Executive Director of The Rails Foundation
Today we welcome Amanda Perino, the executive director at The Rails Foundation.
We talk to Amanda about the foundation, her role and how she become the director. We talk about differences between working with developers and non-developers. We talk about the challenges of the foundation in reaching junior developers, creating better documentation and remote work.
We also discuss the outcomes of the Rails Community Survey results and the state of the community.
We had a great time and I think it is a must listen for any Rails developer.
